Which roads will be affected by this year’s special events?

Here's a look at some of the events planned this year in BWG that will cause road closures

In the Committee of the Whole meeting at Tuesday night’s council meeting, a report for approval was received regarding upcoming road closures in Bradford for 2020. 

Here are a list of the the upcoming events with road closures planned for BWG that residents can plan ahead for:

Saturday May 16
Our Lady of Fatima Candle Light Vigil 
The temporary 'rolling' road closure for Saturday, May 16, 2020 from 8 - 9 p.m.

Hurd Street, from Church Street to Essa Street 
Essa Street, from Hurd Street to Holy Martyrs of Japan Church 

Sunday May 17

“It’s great to see the events the town is putting on,” noted Mayor Rob Keffer.

Council voted unanimously to put forward the recommendation. 

Note, Coun. Gary Lamb and Coun. Peter Dykie did not vote on the Carrotfest schedule, as they both are affiliated with downtown businesses that are affected by the closure.
