Local skating clubs put on a free show at the Leisure Centre over the weekend

Bradford & District Skating Club (BDSC) shared their love of skating and showed their talent during their Winter Ice Show at the BWG Leisure Centre arena on Saturday afternoon.

Celebrating its 60th year in 2019, the BDSC is one of the most established skating clubs in Ontario.

They provide a wide range of quality skating programs, sanctioned by Skate Canada, Canada's official figure skating body.

“Figure skating is for anybody,” said Amanda Masin, one of the coaches with the Skating Club.

“From kids as young as two years old to adults over 50, you can come out to be sociable, get fit and compete if you want to,” she said.

Classes run every day except Sunday at the Bradford West Gwillimbury Leisure Centre.
