Area residents are invited to laugh out loud at the Yuk Yuk's Comedy Night in support of the Newmarket Rotary Club on March 25.
The show will feature three different comedians. The first is Marc Hallworth, originally from Alberta but based in Toronto. He is an actor, director, improviser, comedy teacher, on top of doing sketch comedy and stand-up.
Also in the show is Dom Paré. He is originally from Ottawa and, according to Yuk Yuk's, has taken the Canadian comedy scene by storm.
Jeff McEnery, who was raised in small-town Acton, is a well-recognized comedian and has made appearances at all the major comedy festivals across Canada. He also has acting credits in various TV shows, including Dog Pound, Hot Box, and Letterkenny.
The comedy night will be an opportunity to beat the winter blahs by spending time laughing with family and friends, organizers said. It is also a fundraiser for the Rotary Club.
Registration is required and you can purchase tickets online. Tickets are $37 per person or you can get a table of eight for $260.
The show is from 8 to 10 p.m. on March 25 and doors open at 7 p.m.
