South Simcoe Storm blows $600 into Bradford food bank's coffers

U14A team recently hosted a skills development session for local players ages seven to 11

They had the skills to do the drills — and raise money for Bradford’s food bank.

The South Simcoe Storm’s U14A team recently hosted a skills development session for players ages seven to 11 registered with the Bradford, Innisfil and South Simcoe minor hockey associations. This event, made possible through the effort of coaches including Paul Sorrenti and an ice-time donation from the U11A Storm squad, raised $600 and food for the Bradford Helping Hand Food Bank.

Training took place at the Innisfil Recreational Complex.

About 30 players broke out into small groups and refined their basic hockey skills.
