Randy Harold Stewart, 1956 – 2023
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Randy on September 23, 2023 in Sudbury with family by his side. Predeceased by his partner Judy Smythe, Randy leaves his son David Smythe (April), grandsons Carter Smith (Jacklyn), Dylan Smythe, and great grandson Mason; brother Roger Stewart (Verla) and children Stephanie and Susan; and sister Donna McFarlane (Carl), niece Corrie Dixon (Colin), nephew Kyle McFarlane (Lisa) and great nieces and nephews James, Nolan, Jemma, Jake, Josie and Maya.
Randy spent most of his life on the road as a proud trucker and was well liked and respected as one of the best. He enjoyed his road life for over fifty years and loved travelling and sharing stories with his truck buddies. He travelled throughout Canada and the United States and had an adventure everywhere he went. He also loved coming home and relaxing either with family or good friends especially in Bradford.
Randy requested that there be no service or celebration of life. We ask, however, that you raise a glass with a happy memory to salute a life well lived.
