On Wednesday, December 21, 2022, following an accident and a brief stay at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, Dora Louise Weatherill (nee Bumstead) passed away.
Beloved wife of the late Jack Weatherill. Loving mother of Carol (Bill) McPherson and Leslie Glover. Proud grandma of Ryan (Kendra), Chris, Rob (Renee); Scott (Hong) and Stacey. Cherished great grandma of Caleb, Garrett, Ciara and Sophia. Dear aunt of Leigh. Dora will also be lovingly remembered by her many dear friends. She was a long time resident of Bradford and more currently of Holland Landing. In the late 1950s and 1960s she was a secretary at Bradford High School and then went on to teach at Huron Heights in Newmarket for over 20 years. In her retirement she became an avid and talented quilter known for her excellent handwork.
