TILLSONBURG, Ont. — Ontario Provincial Police say one person has died in Tillsonburg, Ont., after being ejected from a vehicle and then hit.
Police say it happened just before 8 p.m. Tuesday on Lisgar Avenue.
A social media post from police says it involved a passenger "being ejected from a moving vehicle and subsequently struck."
The driver left the scene, but police say that person later returned, and is now in custody.
A stretch of Lisgar Avenue was temporarily closed following the collision.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
