INNISFIL - South Simcoe Police Service officers have made an arrest following a series of gas thefts from a private gas pump in Innisfil.
Four thefts occurred between Friday, Dec. 27, 2019 and Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019 in the Highway 400 and 9 Line area.
As a result of investigation, a suspect was arrested at 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020.
Police seized several items including 11 gm of methamphetamine and a replica handgun.
A 37-year-old Tottenham man was charged with four counts of theft, drug possession and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
