(Bradford) - A 30-year-old Barrie man suffered minor injuries following a stabbing overnight in Bradford.

On Friday, March 6, 2020, around 1:00 a.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers were called to the Four Corners at Holland Street and Simcoe Road for a report of a man that was stabbed. When police arrived, they learned that an argument between two men on the street escalated to a physical altercation and ended with a stabbing.

The suspect fled on foot.

The victim, a 30-year-old Barrie man, was taken to hospital where he was treated for a minor injury and released.

Police are looking for the suspect. A knife was recovered at the scene.

South Simcoe Police Service would like to thank the witnesses who stayed on scene to assist police with the investigation.  Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
