Bradford driver charged with impaired during RIDE check

A 22-year-old Bradford man was issued a seven-day licence suspension after registering a fail on a roadside screening device test.

A vehicle with five males and open alcohol in the centre console was checked during a RIDE program at Church Street and John Street in Bradford around 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7, 2020. While speaking with the driver, police detected an odour of alcohol and conducted a roadside test. After registering a fail, the driver was arrested and transported to South Division for further testing.

As a result, his licence was suspended for seven days due to the his previous driving history. He was also ticketed for open alcohol.
