Bradford man accused of attempted murder after Pickering stabbing (6 photos)

A 57-year-old Scugog male was located with serious injuries after stabbing in a Pickering residence Monday after midnight.

On Monday, Nov. 16, 2020, at approximately 12:55 a.m., members of West Division were called to a residence near Altona Road and Taunton Road in Pickering for a stabbing call.

Officers located the homeowner with serious injuries. Officers rendered first aid until Durham Paramedics arrived. The male was rushed to a Toronto Trauma Center.

The suspect, who is the victims son, fled the scene and was arrested this afternoon in Bradford with the assistance of South Simcoe Police Service.

The 30-year-old male from Bradford is charged with: Attempt murder; aggravated assault; uttering threats; break and enter; mischief; possess weapons dangerous and assault with a weapon. He was held for a bail hearing.
