A Brampton man was charged with Assault and Mischief following a report of a domestic assault.
On Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020, South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to a home in Bradford where a woman reported she had been assaulted by her husband. She also told police some of her property was damaged.
The victim did not require medical treatment for physical injuries. The man subsequently attended the South Division and was arrested and charged.
South Simcoe Police Service urges anyone who is a victim of domestic violence or knows of anyone who is a victim to contact police. We will investigate and have numerous partner agencies that can provide assistance including emotional support.
