On Thursday, May 27, 2021, at approximately 12:30 a.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to a break and enter in progress at a store on Holland Street West near Barrie Street in Bradford.
Officers arrived quickly and located a suspect nearby. A foot pursuit ensued and the suspect was arrested.
The K9 Unit attended the scene for an article search and located additional evidence.
As a result of the investigation, 42-year-old David Buckland of Holland Landing was charged with break and enter and two counts of fail to comply with probation order.
He was held for a bail hearing.
