The Bradford West Gwillimbury/Innisfil Police Services Board welcomed new provincial appointee Sarbjit Singh at the board meeting on March 23.

Singh has been a resident of Bradford since 1988, the year his family moved here from India. As a teenager, he grew up in the Holland Marsh and attended Bradford District High School.

Singh now owns a logistics company in the Holland Marsh area where he helps local farmers with their transportation needs.

As a resident of Bradford, he has been very active throughout the community and is looking forward to serving as a police services board member.

“I’m very excited and honoured to be able to serve as the provincial appointee board member of South Simcoe Police. I believe that as a resident of the South Simcoe area, I’ve been able to gain experience through both the workplace and being an active member in the community, which has equipped me with the necessary tools to serve in this role,” Singh said.
