On Sunday, Aug. 8, 2021 at approximately 10:10 p.m., the South Simcoe Police Service was called regarding a hit-and-run collision that had just occurred in the area of Holland Street West and Simcoe Road in Bradford. The suspect vehicle was subsequently located and the driver was arrested. The vehicle struck by the suspect vehicle sustained damage but no one was hurt.
As a result of the investigation, 28-year-old Brent Leblanc of Bradford was charged with operation while impaired, operation while impaired - excess blood alcohol, and fail to stop after accident.
His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days. He was released with a future court date.
