Members of the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Simcoe County Paramedic Services and New Tecumseth Fire Services responded to a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Industrial Parkway and the Simcoe Parts Services entrance in Alliston on Friday, Sept. 10, 2021 at approximately 10:30 p.m.
A 21-year-old driver was assessed by paramedics on scene and was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. The driver has since been transferred to a trauma centre.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators attended the scene and commenced an investigation.
No charges have been laid at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
