Fire crews respond to Highway 400 vehicle fire (3 photos)

Northbound traffic snarled near Bradford this afternoon

At approximately 1:20 p.m. today, Bradford-West Gwillimbury Fire and Emergency Services and Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a vehicle fire in the northbound lanes of Highway 400 in Bradford.

A Honda SUV caught fire, snarling northbound traffic making it difficult for fire crews reach the scene.

The vehicle was safely parked on the shoulder and some traffic was still passing by.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames once they arrived and set up.

It appears as though there were no injuries as a result of this incident.
