Good to the last drop? Police find cocaine in coffee jar at traffic stop

OPP says vehicle pulled over in Collingwood, drugs found during search

Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP reported finding this coffee jar containing cocaine during a search of a vehicle.

During a traffic stop on Saturday, local police say they discovered 51.7 grams of cocaine tucked inside a coffee jar. 

According to a news release from The Blue Mountains and Collingwood Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), police stopped a vehicle on Nov. 25 in Collingwood and discovered both the people inside had cannabis "ready available."

" As a result a search was conducted under the authority of the Cannabis Control Act. During which point a Maxwell House coffee jar was located and found to contain 51.7 grams of cocaine," states the release  

A 64-year-old male and 43-year-old female, both from Collingwood, were each charged with possession of a schedule I substance — cocaine under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
