INNISFIL - On Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 10:45 a.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers were called to a report of a domestic dispute at a home on the 7th Line in Innisfil.
Upon arrival, police learned that a man who was involved in the incident had left the house. No one at the home was injured.
South Simcoe Police Service officers with assistance from the Ontario Provincial Police are conducting a ground search for the man around Georgian Downs and from the 5th Sideroad to County Road 27.
Barrie Police are also checking the south end of the city.
The man is described as 5'6", thin build and was wearing blue jeans and a blue t-shirt. He has red hair and a goatee.
Police believe he potentially could be armed. We urge members of the public not to approach the man if they see him but to call 911.
