Five people have been charged with firearms offences after police executed a search warrant Monday at a Bradford residence.
South Simcoe Police Service officers, along with the Barrie Police Service Emergency Response Unit, executed a warrant at a home in the area of Langford Boulevard and Holland Street West.
Police arrested four adults and one youth and charged them with numerous firearms-related offences.
Charged are Victoria Beer, 22, of Brooklin, Brayden Fletcher, 21, of Newmarket, Colby Maisine, 22, of Bradford, Raymond Thorne, 35, of Bradford, and a 14-year-old girl from Bradford who cannot be identified due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Police seized a Glock .40-calibre handgun with three overcapacity magazines and a Norinco M305 semi-automatic .308 rifle with an overcapacity magazine, as well as a quantity of ammunition.
Three of the accused were held for bail hearings.
