Impaired and dangerous driving charges laid in Bradford traffic stop

On Sunday, April 17, 2022 at approximately 1:20 a.m., the South Simcoe Police Service responded to a report of a vehicle driving erratically in the area of Zima Parkway and Walker Avenue in Bradford.  Police subsequently located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop on Holland Street West near Collings Avenue.

As a result of the investigation, 45-year-old Wing-Fai Leung of Markham was charged with operation while impaired, operation while impaired - excess blood alcohol and dangerous operation. Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle impounded for seven days.

From Friday, April 15, 2022, to Tuesday, April 19, 2022, the South Simcoe Police Service responded to 245 calls for service.
