The South Simcoe Police Service has made an arrest in relation to an indecent act investigation in the Town of Innisfil.
In late February 2024, police responded to reports of two separate incidents of a man committing an indecent act in the area of Webster Boulevard and Butler Street. Both incidents occurred between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

A suspect was subsequently identified. As a result of an investigation, a 75-year-old Innisfil male was arrested and charged with two counts of Indecent Act - Public Place. He was released with a future court date.
