Man arrested trying to flee on foot after Highway 400 crash

The 20-year-old was located with the assistance of York Regional Police following the single-vehicle collision at Aurora Road, OPP said

A 20-year-old driver faces a slew of charges after he fled on foot following a single-vehicle collision at Highway 400 northbound and Aurora Road Saturday night.

With the assistance of York Regional Police, the fleeing driver was located and arrested by Aurora OPP at about 6 p.m. March 16, according to Ontario Provincial Police Highway Safety Division. 

The Brampton man is charged with dangerous driving, possess break-in tools, possess auto master key and possess property obtained by crime, OPP said.
