INNISFIL, ON - On Saturday, Aug. 8, 2020, at 12:19 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to a report of a man slumped over the steering wheel of a parked vehicle in the 25th Sideroad and 9th Line area of Innisfil.

He was transported to a local hospital by County of Simcoe Paramedics and was subsequently examined by an officer certified as a Drug Recognition Expert. The man was then transported to North Division where he was charged and released with a future court date.

35-year-old Tobias McLaughlin of Barrie was charged with Operation While Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days.
