INNISFIL - South Simcoe Police Service officers have charged an Innisfil woman with mischief after a verbal dispute with her ex-husband ended with property damage.
On Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018 around 10:30 a.m., police were called to a home in the Belle Aire Beach Road and 20 Sideroad area.
A 66-year-old man reported that the house he shared with his ex-wife was being vandalized during an argument. A 58-year-old woman was charged with mischief. She was released with an October court date.
Domestic violence of any kind is unacceptable regardless of your gender. We are encouraged that victims are acting on our commitment to respond to these calls and take every one seriously.
