Motorcycle crash sends one to hospital, driver flees: police

Passenger thrown from motorcycle and suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police official says of Cundles Road West incident

Emergency crews responded to a crash involving a motorcycle on Cundles Road West, Sunday evening.

Barrie police are investigating after emergency crews were called to a single-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle with two passengers on Cundles Road West, Sunday evening. 

The crash happened just before 7 p.m., Sept. 10, near Lillian Crescent. 

“A passenger on the motorcycle was thrown from the motorcycle and taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries," Barrie police communications co-ordinator Jennett May said.

The driver was not located and the investigation remains ongoing, Mays added.
