Police are looking for this vehicle in relation to a homicide in Alliston in August.

Provincial police have released the name of a woman who was shot to death last month outside an Alliston home.

The deceased has been identified as Sibel Duzguner, 38, of New Tecumseth.

Nottawasaga OPP has also released a description of a "vehicle of interest" in relation to the homicide investigation.

Investigators are searching for a silver or grey 2011 to 2014 Volkswagen Jetta, which police say was observed in the area of Kidd Crescent around the time of the incident. Anyone who may have observed the vehicle prior to and/or during the time of the incident is asked to contact police.

On Aug. 26, shortly before 6:30 a.m., Nottawasaga OPP and emergency services responded to reports of gunfire at a residence on Kidd Crescent. The female victim was located outside the residence with apparent gunshot wounds and transported to hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

"Any minor detail may be the key piece to this investigation," police said in a news release.

OPP Central Region Crime Units and OPP Forensic Identification Services continue the investigation under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, in collaboration with the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario.

Anyone with information or video is asked to contact the Nottawasaga OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
