The South Simcoe Police Service has created a spot on its website where people can leave messages of condolence following the deaths of two of its officers.
Constables Devon Northrup and Morgan Russell died after being shot Tuesday evening while responding to a disturbance at an Alcona home.
“Constable Northrup and Constable Russell were beloved members of our police family. Their tragic, senseless deaths are having a profound impact on our service, our communities and the policing community,” the South Simcoe Police Service wrote on its website.
