TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH, ADJALA-TOSORONTIO & ESSA TOWNSHIPS – Members of the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are seeking the public's assistance with numerous theft complaints in Alliston. Do you have home security footage that could help? Do you recognize the person in the attached picture?
On Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021 at approximately 8 a.m., police began receiving theft from vehicle calls. All calls reported similar incidents of vehicles being entered. Some also advised that their garage had been entered or at least an attempt was made to enter.
The incidents occurred Tuesday early morning during the approximate time frame of 1 a.m. to 3 a.m.
The area of the investigation, at this time includes Shephard Ave, Bowerman Blvd and Essa Rd in Alliston.
Nottawasaga OPP is reminding the public to double check that you have locked your car doors. Make sure to close your garage door and lock your residence doors. Do not leave valuables out or in plain view.

Anyone with information regarding these incidents, or may have dash camera footage, or home security footage, is asked to contact the Nottawasaga OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). When you contact Crime Stoppers you remain anonymous, you will never have to testify and you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
