Police seek assistance locating wanted vehicle

SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP -  On May 5, 2018 members of the Huronia West OPP responded to a collision between a pedestrian and vehicle in Springwater Township. 

The collision occurred near the intersection of County Road 53 and Carson Road between 4:30 a.m and 5:45 a.m. As a result of the collision the pedestrian, 28 year old Dominik ADAMEK of Springwater Twp., was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the involved motor vehicle did not remain at the scene.

Police have received numerous tips and have spoken to eye witnesses. However, police are still asking for assistance from the public. This May long weekend, police are appealing to the travelling public to keep an eye for the involved vehicle. The investigation indicates a dark grey 2011-2013 Toyota Corolla is the involved motor vehicle. The vehicle sustained front end damage predominantly on the passenger side.
