11:55 a.m. update:

South Simcoe Police working with our partners from Barrie Police Service, York Regional Police and Georgian Bay Volunteer Search & Rescue to conduct a missing person search in the Town of Innisfil.

Kenneth Armstrong, 75 years from the Town of Innisfil has been missing since 4:30 p.m. yesterday. Police and family members are concerned for his well-being.

An extensive ground search is being conducted in the Alcona area. Marine Units from South Simcoe Police and York Regional Police are also conducting a shoreline search.

Anyone with information regarding Kenneth is asked to call South Simcoe Police at (705) 436-2141.

South Simcoe Police say Ken Armstrong, 75, lives on Goshen Road and previously lived on Lakelands Avenue in Alcona. Police are asking residents to check any video surveillance in the area for him. He suffers from dementia and is diabetic.

INNISFIL - South Simcoe Police Service is asking Innisfil residents to check their properties and outbuildings for a missing Alcona man. 75-year-old Ken Armstrong was last seen wearing a blue or possibly white shirt and black track pants with some white detailing.
