INNISFIL - On Sunday, May 24, 2020, around 2 a.m., South Simcoe Police Service were called to the area of Ewart Street and Isabella Street in Innisfil for a well-being check on a man passed out in the front seat of a vehicle.
Police arrived on scene and after failing a roadside screening device test, the man was arrested for impaired driving. Subsequent breath tests resulted in readings over the legal limit of alcohol. 28-year-old Muhammad Aziz of Scarborough was charged with over 80. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days.
