INNISFIL - No one was injured in a collision involving a vehicle and a snowplow this morning in Innisfil.

On Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, around 8 a.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to a two-vehicle collision on 20th Sideroad at Killarney Beach Road in Innisfil. A vehicle and a plow collided causing minor front end damage to the vehicle. No one was hurt.

This was one of several collisions we responded to during this snowstorm.

The others included:

  • a vehicle that lost control on a snow covered road and struck a tree at  8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018 at the 20th Sideroad and 6th Line in Innisfil
  • a collision involving an ambulance and a vehicle just after midnight on Innisfil Beach Rd. west of Yonge St. in Innisfil
  • a vehicle that lost control and hit a curb around 2 a.m. on Dissette St. in Bradford
  • a single vehicle roll over into a ditch at 7:56 a.m. on 9th Line at 20th Sideroad in Innisfil

Thankfully, there were no injuries in these collisions. South Simcoe Police Service wants to remind drivers to clear their vehicles of ice and snow and slow down on snowy, slick roads.
