Three people have been charged in relation to a home invasion and robbery that occurred in 2021 in Innisfil.
On June 8, 2021, police responded to a residence, where a “targeted robbery for a quantity of cash” had taken place, according to a South Simcoe Police Service news release.
Suspects had broken into the home of the victim, who confronted them, leading to “a violent struggle.” The suspects fled on foot, and the victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
On Monday, police arrested three people and charged them with robbery, break and enter, and aggravated assault. Charged are a 43-year-old Willow Beach woman, a 32-year-old St. Thomas man and a 36-year-old Sarnia man.
