Three charged with assault after two seriously injured in Bradford

Charges laid following incident last month outside victims' residence

Three people are facing assault charges after an incident in Bradford that left two men seriously injured.

On Nov. 5 at about 4 a.m., South Simcoe police responded to a residence in the area of Barrie and Holland streets for a report of an assault. Officers found two victims, aged 35 and 42 years old, who had been assaulted outside their home, according to a news release.

The victims were taken to hospital — one in critical condition and the other with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

Three suspects were arrested Thursday.

Kevin Ramon Barrientos, 31, of Scarborough, Randu Ramon Barrientos, 25, of Alliston, and Walter Ramon Barrientos, 27, of Scarborough, have each been charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon. Walter Ramon Barrientos was also charged with failing to comply with an undertaking.

All three were held for bail hearings.

Police are calling it an isolated incident.
