Three people charged with impaired driving in three days

Three people have been charged in as many days with impaired driving in Innisfil.

South Simcoe police responded March 28, shortly before 11:30 a.m., to the report of a vehicle stuck in the mud in a field off of 6th Line near Webster Boulevard.

A 33-year-old Innisfil resident was charged with operation while impaired and operation while impaired (excess blood-alcohol).

On March 29 at about 2:30 p.m., police responded to the area of 7th Line and St. Johns Road, where a vehicle was on its side in a ditch. The driver was not injured.

A 63-year-old Barrie resident was charged with operation while impaired, operation while impaired (excess blood-alcohol), and careless driving.

At about 10 p.m. March 30, police received a report of an erratic driver in the area of Yonge Street and Innisfil Beach Road.

The vehicle was located, and a 50-year-old Innisfil resident was charged with operation while impaired (excess blood-alcohol) and breach of probation.

All three drivers had their licences suspended for 90 days and their vehicles impounded for seven days.
