Two Alliston men accused of scrap metal theft

BRADFORD, ON - Two Alliston men were charged after South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to a report of a break-in at the Bradford Waste Facility on 12th Line in Bradford.

On Friday, Aug. 7, 2020, around 9 p.m., officers located two men on the property who were arrested and charged with several offences. 58-year-old Brian Caldeira and 56-year-old Hilary Caldeira, both of Alliston, were charged with Theft Under $5000, Possession of Stolen Goods and Possession of Break-In Instruments.

A quantity of scrap metal was recovered at the scene. The accused were released with a future court date.
