Two people have been charged with sexual assault following an incident last month at a downtown Bradford establishment.
On Aug. 16, South Simcoe police officers responded to a report of a woman who said she had been sexually assaulted. She was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. She did not know the suspects.
Francisco Pereira and Luis Ramundo, both 57, of Bradford, were arrested and charged with sexual assault and forcible confinement. One was also charged with assault causing bodily harm.
The accused will appear in court next month.
