Two vehicle theft incidents under investigation

INNISFIL - South Simcoe Police responded to two separate vehicle theft occurrences over the weekend. On the 28th of May 2023 shortly after 8 a.m., a Copeland Crescent, Innisfil resident discovered their 2021 Chevrolet Suburban (white) was stolen overnight. Located inside the vehicle was some Coca Cola memorabilia that remains outstanding.

In addition to the stolen Suburban, police on the 28th of May 2023 responded to a report of a 2016 GMC Sierra pickup that was discovered stolen from a 10th Sideroad, Innisfil address. The vehicle was bearing Ontario plate BC52949. The vehicle is black with a white cab and carbon fibre logos vs the traditional red GMC logos.

At this time it is not known if these two occurrences are related. The investigation continues.
