INNISFIL - A 41-year-old Innisfil man was charged with impaired driving-related offences following a single-vehicle collision.
On Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020 around 8:30 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to a collision involving a single vehicle that had left the roadway and caught fire in the 5th Line and Reive Boulevard area of Innisfil. The driver, who was not injured, was arrested at the scene for impaired driving. He was transported to North Division where breath tests resulted in readings of well over the legal limit of alcohol.
Forty-one-year-old Muhundan Thayalan of Innisfil was charged with impaired driving and over 80. His licence was suspended for 90 days.
