Woman charged with careless driving after vehicle crashes into house

Police say no one was injured, but both the house and vehicle were significantly damaged

No one was injured when a vehicle crashed into a house in Bradford West Gwillimbury early Monday afternoon.

South Simcoe Police were called to Church Street just before 12:30 p.m.

They say both the house and vehicle were significantly damaged in the crash.

“Officers located a nearby CCTV video that showed the vehicle suddenly accelerating to a high speed before colliding with the house,” allege police in a news release.

A 77-year old Richmond Hill woman has been charged with careless driving.
