York man accused of sex offences involving children

Arrest made after local police receive information from U.S. Homeland Security

A Vaughan man has been charged with sex offences involving children.

In February, York Regional Police received information from Homeland Security Investigations in the United States about a man in York Region who was trying online to arrange meetings for sexual purposes with kids he believed were younger than 16, police said in a news release.

Police executed search warrants at a home and a business in Vaughan and, on March 7, arrested the suspect.

Igor Keselman, 51, has been charged with arrangement to commit a sexual offence against a person under 14 years of age, arrangement to commit a sexual offence against a person under 16 years of age, making child pornography, transmitting child pornography, and counselling an offence that is not committed.
