BWG’s annual spring Community Clean-up returns this year in a new way!
This year, Community Clean-up will take place over a week. Residents will be able to pick-up 'Clean-up Kits' and clean-up in their own neighbourhoods and at their chosen time during Community Clean-up Week from Sunday, April 18 - Saturday, April 24, 2021.
Clean-up Kits will include garbage bags, gloves, hand sanitizer, clean-up instructions & safety tips.
Clean-up Kits will be available on a first-come first-served basis (no registration required). Pick-up will be at the BWG Leisure Centre (471 West Park Ave.), starting Wednesday, April 14, while supplies last. Pick-up is available during Customer Service hours of operation (Monday-Friday 8:30 am-4:30 pm). An additional pick-up time will be available on Saturday, April 17 from 10:00 am-12:00 pm.
Residents are encouraged to choose a public park, greenspace or trail in BWG to clean. You can clean at whatever time you choose during the week (April 18-24, 2020). Please use your discretion when choosing a day, time and location to ensure your safety. We ask that everyone follow social distancing guidelines and maintain 2 metres from others. Please only clean up with your household.
