Looking for something to keep your kids busy this summer? The BWG Library has you covered!The BWG Children’s Librarians have been hard at work, planning great summer programs and registration is now open.

IN-PERSON PROGRAMMING

Storywalk® at Scanlon Creek

Monday, July 19 to August 9.

Enjoy the great outdoors and a story as you walk the trails at Scanlon Creek.  Follow along with the pages of a fun story and then enjoy the greenery when you reach the end of the trail.  This event is free through the generous support of the TD Summer Reading Club and is run in partnership with the BWG Library and the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority.

Visit the Storywalk® from Monday, July 19 to Monday, August 9.  Drop in anytime during the day (no registration) to take your self-guided walk along the trail and follow along with the story!  Be sure to share a photo from your Storywalk through Facebook Messenger or via email to [email protected].

Sing With Russ: A Virtual Concert

- Tuesday, July 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

- Tuesday, August 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

Join us on Zoom for a Sing With Russ virtual concert! Enjoy songs with children’s entertainer Russ Clayton while you sing and dance along to the music.

Recommended for ages 1 and older.  This program is free and registration is required. Click here to register.  Before the event, attendees will receive an email with the Zoom link to the virtual program.

Blooms and Bugs with Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority

- Monday, July 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Join us for a virtual program with Dana, Outreach Coordinator with the Education Team at the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority, as we take a look at the outdoors!

There is so much to learn about in our own backyard and in our gardens.  Learn about different plants, flowers and bugs native to our very own backyard and local to Bradford.
