Free Virtual Fitness Classes

The BWG Leisure Centre Fitness Team has offered some additional pop-up fitness classes this month – for free!  Please note that these specialty classes require you to have your own equipment.

In addition to the regular schedule, the following classes are coming up this month:

Mom Workout

  • Sunday, May 9, 2021
  • 9:30am-10:15am
  • Start your Mother’s Day off with a good sweat surrounded by other moms! Join us in this HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workout with intense bursts of exercise followed by short/active recovery. A relaxing stretch to end the class. All levels welcome.
  • Equipment required: Dumbbells or Kettlebells

Foam Rolling

  • Tuesday, May 11, 2021
  • 6:00pm-6:30pm
  • Foam rolling is a way of massaging away muscle soreness and preparing your muscles for deeper stretching and more elasticity.
  • Equipment required: Foam roller and a firm tennis ball

Stability Ball

  • Wednesday, May 26, 2021
  • 9:15am-9:45am
  • Learn how to improve balance, muscle tone and core strength using a stability ball. This 30 min workout will teach you a variety of exercises using the stability ball. All levels welcome.
