Twenty-one years have passed since that dreadful call When tones came ringing through the fire hall
As routine we donned our gear
Arrived on scene to our worst fear
A fallen brother was the fate
Of which we then must extricate
To no avail the damage done, the realization
Our lost loved one
We question why, what for, who knew
What’s left behind, a broken crew
We must be strong and brave and grand
The needs of the community still at hand
So we continue the daily pace
But go not without his smiling face
To every fire and MVC
A part of us he’ll always be
You still ride the trucks,
The hose you lift
You’re our fireman angel
Our special gift
