Music in the Park is back again for five evenings this summer with a concert lineup everyone will love.
Music in the Park features free live musical performances from various genres. Concerts will take place outdoors on the Library West Lawn at 425 Holland Street West, every Tuesday evening (7:00 – 9:00 pm) from June 27 through July 25.
We are kicking things off on Canadian Multiculturalism Day, an annual opportunity for all Canadians to honour and celebrate the diversity of our country, and the many cultural communities that help build a strong and vibrant Canadian society. In celebration of Multicultural Day, this special Music in the Park event will feature an Afro-Caribbean steel-drum performance and the Neema Children’s Choir, a Bollywood class, free Henna tattoos by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Women's Association, and a story walk by the BWG Library and Cultural Centre.
July’s performances include a tribute band to Canada’s very own the Great Big Sea, followed by the long-awaited return of the Blushing Brides (a Rolling Stones cover band), a U2 cover band, and Fleetwood Mac Mania. You won't want to miss out on these fantastic performances!
The complete concert lineup includes:
June 27: Neema Children’s Choir & D’Jango Pan Fyah
July 4: Off The Rock
July 11: The Blushing Brides
July 18: Desire
July 25: Fleetwood Mac Mania
Grab a snack from our local vendors (La Mexicanada, Jo’s Juice Jazz, Ms. Richies Kitchen, and Pizza Twenty Two) and get ready to cheer on our extremely talented local intermission acts!
Music in the Park is free to enjoy for all, but remember to bring your own seating.
