Please be advised that road construction is scheduled to begin on April 15, 2024 on Kilkenny Trail from Sideroad 10 to the end of the cul-de-sac starting Monday, April 15, 2024, weather permitting. The project is expected to last approximately six weeks, with possible extensions due to inclement weather.
The construction work will involve partial depth removal of the existing road surface, removal, and replacement of damaged sections of concrete curb, installation of a new hot-mix asphalt road surface, and final site restoration and cleanup.
During the construction period, access to residential driveways may be temporarily obstructed during curb repairs and asphalt paving. Affected homeowners will receive advance notification to make alternate arrangements. Additionally, homeowners are urged not to park on the newly paved road for 24 hours after completion to allow the asphalt to consolidate and cool properly.
Homeowners may experience disruptions in Rogers or Bell service as buried cables may be damaged during the repair process. In the event of a service disruption, homeowners are advised to contact their service provider directly for repair arrangements, providing necessary account details. The Town is not able to arrange for cable reports on your behalf.
