It’s time to lace up your skates!
BWG's outdoor ice rinks at Lions Park and Bud Brown Park are now open for the winter season, as of 9:00 am on Friday, January 19!
Our Parks and Property staff operate and maintain four outdoor ice rinks in BWG over the winter months. When open, residents are welcome to use the rink at their leisure, at no cost, between the hours of 9:00 am and 10:00 pm. Please read the rink status and review our rink rules below before you plan your visit.

Rink Rules
Please review the following rules before visiting our outdoor rinks. Although our outdoor rinks are unsupervised, they are periodically visited throughout the day for maintenance and to ensure rules are being followed:
- Outdoor rinks are open weather dependent: please check the rink status before you plan your visit.
- Please exercise caution at all times.
- Alcohol is not permitted on Town property.
- Helmets are recommended.
- No hockey sticks, pucks, balls, chairs, strollers, etc. are permitted on the ice.
- Animals are not allowed on the ice surface.
- Children under the age of 10 must attend with a parent/guardian.
- Change rooms and washrooms are not available at these locations.
