My name is Paul Best and I am a proud local business owner and resident of Innisfil.
My family has made Innisfil our home for more than 25 years.
I started helping out in my father's carpentry business at a young age. Following high school, I continued working for others within the skilled trades industry.
Moving to Innisfil with my wife, Laura, and young son, I was afforded the opportunity to start my own company and grow my family with generous support from the community.
With hard work, honesty and customer satisfaction, we’ve grown our family business to what it is today.
I am personally thankful for the community and people that continued to support our family. I decided that it was time that I give back to the community the way it has given to us and allowed my family to build a future.
As a local businessman and homeowner, I have seen firsthand the vast changes that Innisfil has gone through and have experienced the same issues as others within our community. I believe that it’s time for me to take action and put Innisfil first.
I will:
- Advocate for safer roads and better maintenance
- Encourage and support local businesses, creating more jobs
- Allow access to locals first in our recreation and workforce sector
- Support local development, enhancing our town’s growth
- Creating equal opportunity for children's activities
- Create a more pet-friendly Innisfil
With the same hard work, honesty and customer focus I’ve brought to my business, I’ll bring to council as deputy mayor. Let me be your “Best Choice for Deputy Mayor.”
I can be contacted via email at [email protected] if you have any questions or inquiries. I look forward to your support and representing you and your voice in council.
